Celebrating Composer Leonard Bernstein

The Prebendal School is proud to be supporting this year's Bernstein in Chichester Festival which is marking the strong ties between the composer and the city in his centenary year.

At our Summer Concert, the 1st Orchestra will be playing a medley of songs from Bernstein's West Side Story as a tribute. Premiered on Broadway in 1957, this tale of love and prejudice is inspired by Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet.

The Summer Concert will take place in Chichester Cathedral on Thursday 12th July 2018 from 7pm. Admission is free and everyone is welcome. The concert programme will also feature our Concert Band as well as a variety of ensemble and solo performances.
