H
eads of Pastoral Issues

The school has two teachers who are responsible for more serious issues relating to pastoral matters. One oversees the juniors (years 3-5) and the other oversees the seniors(years 6-8). These teachers lead a regularweekly assembly and will communicate regularly with the teachers within those year groups.

SHE
PSHE is particularly important in promoting personal and social development because it helps young people to build their personal identities, confidence and self-esteem. It enables them to recognise, accept and shape their identities, to understand and accommodate difference and change, to manage emotions and to communicate constructively in a variety of settings. Developing an understanding of themselves and empathy with others will help them to form and maintain good relationships, and better enjoy their lives.
