Pelicans Pre-school

Welcome to Pelicans! We are the only nursery in the centre of Chichester that provides an inspirational environment within a school site for two to four year olds, so you can make sure your child is Reception-ready.

Not only do we provide an unrivalled location in the heart of Chichester, Pelicans is also open from 7am until 7pm allowing parents to choose nursery sessions that fit into their busy family life. It also provides a rich programme of learning with qualified teaching staff.

In the morning, the teaching is comparatively structured which enables the children to gain the appropriate skills ready for going into Reception. In the afternoon, the provision is focused more on learning through play and being outside. Beach School, ballet, cookery, music, art, sport and Forest School allow the children to continue developing their skills to ensure they are ready for the next stage of their learning journey.

Pelicans has the added advantage of having numerous opportunities for learning right on the doorstep with visits to places such as The Novium, Pallant House Gallery, the Bishop's Palace Gardens and the Library, and this is all based in a safe and established school environment within the extensive and well-equipped grounds of The Prebendal School.
