British Sign Language Week

This week we were encouraged to raise deaf awareness by celebrating British Sign Language Week. During assembly the whole school were able to sing and sign a song, and we would like to thank Mr Collings for sharing this with us.  We were kindly visited by Andy and interpreter Dean from the RNID, who delivered a fantastic inspiring assembly and BSL workshop to Year 6/7 and 8. All of our pupils said how much they enjoyed the experience and the staff and students alike would like to say a huge thank Andy and Dean for their engaging workshop.
