Year 8 Battisborough Residential 2023

The Year 8 leavers’ residential to sunny, south Devon last week was filled with sunshine, fun and friendship. A chance for them to make lasting memories as a Prebendal family before they fly the metaphorical, prep-school nest and onto the big wide world of Senior School.

Year 8 planned the trip from start to finish  and relished the chance to: paddle board, visit a theme park, go-kart, zip-wire, paint-ball, play beach cricket, splash around on out private beach, roast marshmallows and much, much more. 

As the trip is a symbolic culmination of all their hard-work throughout their Prebendal journey, each child’s voice was heard when planning the trip and they took ownership of it every step of the way. The beautiful Battisborough House overlooking Morhecombe Bay was the ideal springboard for our endless adventures, where we were spoilt with delicious food from our private chef, private tennis courts, football pitches and even several dairy cows!

It was an absolute pleasure to lead such a kind, caring brigade of leavers.
